Assistant Surgeon Vacancies: Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (APVVP) has
issued a recruitment notification under Health Medical & Family Welfare
Department for Civil Assistant Surgeon posts. Online applications are invited
for filling up 575 Civil Assistant Surgeon (General)/ Civil Assistant Surgeon
(Specialist) vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may apply through

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates
upper age limit should not exceed 39 years as on 01-07-2013. Age relaxation is
applicable as per the Govt. rules.
Educational
Qualification: Candidates should possess the following qualification.
- For Civil Assistant Surgeon (General): Candidates must possess the qualification of MBBS Degree or its equivalent included in the Schedule –I of the MCI Act, 1956 and from a College recognized by the Medical Council of India and must be registered (on Permanent basis) with State Medical Council of Andhra Pradesh or any other state in India constituted under MCI Act.
- For Civil Assistant Surgeon (Specialist): Candidates should have passed Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma or its equivalent in the concerned specialty from a College recognized by the Medical Council of India and must be registered (on Permanent basis) with State Medical Council of Andhra Pradesh or any other state in India constituted under MCI Act.
Application Fee: General
and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee
while SC, ST BC, Ex-Service Men and Physically Handicapped category candidates
are exempted from paying application fee.
Application fee should be paid in the form of demand draft
drawn in favour of Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad,
Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad.
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination.

Form: All those candidates who wish to apply for Civil Assistant Surgeon

application form on APVVP official website at apvvp.ap.nic.in before 17th

generated application form and sent it along with other required documents, attested
copies of MBBS/PG Degree/PG Diploma certificate, SSC certificate, study
certificate, caste certificate and bank draft to the following address before 27th
